Progress Information
Step 1. Technical Development and Material Testing

The client approached Fashion Atlas with a concept for a women’s PU leather set consisting of tailored trousers and a fitted vest.

The design included custom metal logos, engraved buttons, branded labels, decorative belts, and Standard and Tall trouser lengths.
Because the original references did not contain all the information required for production, our team developed separate tech packs for both garments.
We also tested several PU leather options for strength, stretch, seam stability, texture, and sheen. The selected material needed to retain its shape and matte appearance without excessive creasing around the zippers.

Step 2. Twelve Sets Delivered for the Trade Show

The client needed the garments for a trade show on April 9. To protect the deadline without rushing directly into bulk production, we arranged an initial run of 12 sets in several sizes and trouser lengths.
More than 20 factories declined the project because of its complex construction, non-standard measurements, custom hardware, and short timeline. Fashion Atlas ultimately secured a suitable production partner and coordinated the garment construction, branded metal details, inspection, and express delivery.
All 12 sets reached the client on April 8—one day before the event. The client used them at the trade show and responded positively to the PU leather, overall appearance, and custom metal branding.

Step 3. Refinement and a 100-Set Production Order

Feedback from the trade show fittings was used to refine the trousers and vest.
The updates included:
improving the fit through the hips and waist;
adding a front zipper and functional back pockets;
adjusting the waistband and inseam lengths;
creating a more tailored vest silhouette;
refining the zipper and label placement;
updating the size and care labels.
The revised trouser sample passed an internal measurement review, and the approved changes were added to the production specification.
The client then placed a paid order for 100 sets—100 vests and 100 pairs of trousers—using the revised patterns, approved PU leather, and custom hardware.
A complex concept, delivered for a critical event and developed into a commercial production order.
