Step 1. Collection Development and Fabric Selection

The client approached us to develop a men’s collection that would bring traditional African influences into a modern, everyday wardrobe.

The collection included two African-inspired sets and two contemporary styles.

The main goal was to balance distinctive design with a comfortable fit and fabrics suitable for future production.

We tested several materials with different compositions and levels of stretch. After reviewing the samples, the client selected the fabric that delivered the best combination of quality, appearance, and feel.

Step 2. Fit Refinement and Detail Control

Each style was evaluated individually and refined through several rounds of sampling.
Special attention was given to:

  • top proportions in sizes L and XL;
  • garment length and overall balance;
  • trouser fit and inseam length;
  • stitching quality;
  • color selection for the launch collection;
  • upgraded buttons and hardware;
  • metal cord ends;
  • placement of branded details.

For the African sets, we combined the approved top measurements with the client’s preferred trouser specifications. Every finished piece underwent quality inspection and detailed measurements before shipment.

Step 3. Final Samples and Launch Preparation

Once the fabrics, construction, and fit had been approved, we produced the final sets in white, black, light purple, and burgundy.
Custom woven labels, hang tags, and metal cord details were also created for the collection. The finished samples were prepared not only for final approval, but also for promotion through influencers in the United States.
After receiving the completed sets, the client told us that everything looked amazing and confirmed that all styles were finalized.
