Step 2. Sample Review, Measurement Control, and Embroidery Evaluation
A key part of this project was making sure the sweatshirt performed well not only visually, but also technically.
The sample review process included detailed measurement checks across the garment, including body length, chest width, and logo placement. Because the design relied on a small embroidered chest detail rather than a large print or graphic application, precision was especially important. Even a minor shift in logo position or scale could affect the balance of the final product.
We also reviewed the embroidery itself to ensure the artwork remained clean, legible, and consistent across different garment colors. The logo needed to retain its sharp appearance on both white and black sweatshirts while preserving the intended branded look.
Special attention was given to proportion, symmetry, and consistency so the sweatshirt would feel polished, commercially wearable, and ready for repeat production.
