Delicate Materials, Intricate Detailing, and Bespoke Craftsmanship
The client approached us to produce two evening dress samples based on completed tech packs.
Due to the complexity of the designs, the project required a specialist experienced in bespoke dressmaking and working with delicate fabrics. Both dresses were constructed by hand.
Special attention was given to:
handling the natural silk
joining the silk and organza with precision
dyeing the lace to match the main fabric
positioning the decorative elements
attaching the beads and sequins
preventing snags and fabric damage
following the tech packs and size specifications
Because an exact match for the lace shown in the references was not commercially available, we sourced the closest alternative and adapted the trim while preserving the overall aesthetic of the designs.
Once completed, both dresses underwent detailed measurement checks and visual inspection.
The second sample was produced in size S, with the main measurements matching the tech pack. The team also reviewed the garment length, sleeve proportions, insert placement, and the quality of the hand-applied finishing.
Both samples were delivered to the client. She provided a few minor comments on the first style that could be addressed without significant changes to the construction. Discussions then began around quantities for a future production order.
Two complex designs. Bespoke craftsmanship. Finished physical samples.
