Special Effect Hoodie Capsule
This project included several hoodies developed under one creative concept. Each piece had a strong visual identity, but they were united by one requirement. The prints had to glow clearly and evenly in the dark.
Step 2. Glow Ink Testing and Material Sourcing
The key challenge was sourcing the right glow in the dark ink.
We tested multiple formulations to evaluate:
• brightness intensity
• charge time under light
• glow duration
• print smoothness on fleece
• wash durability
Heavy weight fleece was selected to support the oversized silhouette and ensure the garment held structure under large print coverage.
For pieces that included embroidery or sleeve numbers, we balanced stitching density so it did not distort the fabric.
Only after confirming glow performance and fabric compatibility did we approve production.

We checked: • glow consistency across the artwork • edge sharpness of screen prints • embroidery alignment • fabric recovery after printing • overall silhouette balance Several refinements were made to improve glow intensity and prevent cracking or stiffness in high coverage areas. The final result was a bold streetwear capsule that delivers impact in both light and darkness. A technical print challenge turned into a strong visual statement.
